Testimonials

I have been attending Usha’s classes for over six years, and I can truly say she made yoga—which wasn’t enjoyable for me—into something I NEED to empower my mind, body and spirit. She is a wonderful teacher who brings compassion and education to the forefront of every class, meeting students where they are and gently pushing us all to our edge. I can’t say enough about her effectiveness as a teacher, and her warmth as a human.

I have been practicing with Usha for years and would follow her to any studio or any virtual platform. Usha guides her students in their yoga practice with a blend of grace, knowledge and personal attention. I always leave her classes feeling infinitely better than when I first stepped on the mat - stronger, challenged and centered.

I have been practicing yoga consistently for 13 years. I go to different studios, enjoy various teachers, but the one consistent in my practice is Usha! Her classes not only provide me with the physical workout I crave, but the mental one as well. I leave knowing that I’ve deepened my practice and challenged myself to the fullest; somehow sweaty and calm all at once! The best part, her classes are fun!

I’ve been taking yoga classes for 15 years and have had Usha as an instructor for almost 10 years. She’s been my favorite teacher over that time. Usha’s prompts during poses allow students of all levels to put in as much effort as they are ready for.

Usha is very knowledgeable as my instructor in my yoga practice. Her voice, poses and ability to assist me to receive the full benefits (even virtually), is a gift.
I was a student of hers for years then I moved away. Silver Lining of CV19: virtual weekly classes has been an added bonus.

Yoga classes with Usha are fantastic. My wife and I attend together, a practice we started years ago when Usha was at a local studio, and are thrilled to have her online sessions available now. She’s a wonderful instructor, helps folks across a variety of capabilities. I always come out refreshed, and the online sessions are a big part staying sane (and fit) these days.

...I always look forward to Usha’s classes and what I will discover. She often varies the traditional asanas to create fresh challenges that keep us totally present. I appreciate that she also maintains the spiritual connection of yoga. Usha’s students are fortunate because as she grows and evolves in her own practice, she shares what she learns with us...

Usha’s yoga classes are challenging and restorative at the same time. She carefully crafts her classes so each has a different flavor to it. Usha has a unique way of helping you go deeper making the practice more impactful. Her teaching is always present within me when I’m doing my own yoga practice at home.
— Caroline
Usha has been a clear guiding light in my life over the last six years as I have participated in her weekly yoga classes.
Usha’s dedication to her practice and students is unmatched and a great benefit to our community.
I’m so grateful I’ve experienced her nurturing and inspiring teaching and the inner peace I feel after each session.
I highly recommended making the time for a class with Usha!

Usha is a warm and caring yoga teacher who is very thoughtful of the needs of all her students. She is approachable and kind; it is easy to create a conversation of your needs both in studio and via zoom. She encourages you to push your practice. Usha was always a fave teacher of mine in studio and this has continued even through streaming classes during covid 19.
Thank You Usha.
